Destination shopping sometimes has to be saved for vacations – time alone as a parent to wander and select carefully when on our own or when kids are in school. Double Take offers destination shopping – a joy, not just an errand – for parents and kids: together!
In honor of upcoming Father’s Day we wish to share about our vision for shopping for the whole family: at once! We take equal pride and care with our men’s, women’s and children’s collections. Double Take actually began as a place to get great deals on gently worn kids things in 1987 – but parents had needs to we soon needed to fulfill…
For years, Double Take has created spaces for kids to enjoy shopping for themselves – and places for them to feel welcome. We have a kid’s playroom in our main store – a baby and kids store with a toy room children love to lose themselves in – and an entire room devoted to kid’s western wear – including incredible collectible toys, boots and clothing for kids of all ages, or grown kids remembering their childhoods.
Double Take also runs a vast children’s clothing department for all ages, with great deals on sportswear and equipment (ex. GK expensive retail gymnastics leotards/unitards – normally $40-50.00 for $16!!) Trusted name brands in kid’s clothes and footwear that normally cost over $30.00 can be found for $10.00 or less: Crocs, Crewcuts, Uggs, just to name a few.
Dads can have a turn too in our blossoming and ever expanding men’s department, with western and designer men’s collections. Moms often end up spending the day at Encore, finding $1.00-$10.00 deals in our main store, and equally rare finds in our large collection of jewelry – we boast 15+ cases on display throughout the store. So don’t wait for that rare day alone, parents – your kids can come play with you at Double Take!
