After a hike or a walk, these delights of the season can take you straight into the kitchen. In our minds, we imagine comfort food, seasonal recipes, and foodie inspiration from the autumn harvest. And to think, Thanksgiving is now just around the corner!
In our employee kitchen, you never know what crock pot full of yummies will be brought in for us to share. The giving of warm, savory food brings us together and promotes the feeling of community that we love so much. We couldn’t let this time of year go by without serving up a recipe of our own, and a kitchen housewares sale to celebrate the turning of the seasonal wheel with you!

As the leaves turn, we wish everyone healthy and positive change for the winter ahead. From our kitchen to yours, Turkey Chili…. A recipe you can make as your own!
Ingredients:
Ground turkey (or leave out for the veggie variety)
Black beans, red bell pepper, zucchini, carrots, diced tomatoes, roasted corn, onion, garlic, cumin, chili, black pepper, chicken or veggie stock, and anything else that sounds good!
Brown turkey with spices
Saute onion, garlic and veggies
Add all together with stock and diced tomatoes (2 cans or fresh)
Add more spices to your taste, simmer for 30 minutes
Garnish with sour cream, avocado, and fresh cilantro
Add corn chips and cheese, and now you have Frito Pie!
